The MSS4K series camera is the next-generation live-view imaging-system with 4K resolution (Video) at 60 FPS. It features a Sony Exmor CMOS sensor with high sensitivity, low dark current, and no smear achieved through the adoption of R, G, and B primary color mosaic filters.
Designed with a standard C-mount interface, the camera ensures maximum compatibility with various microscopy systems. It can function as a stand-alone recorder when connected to an HDMI monitor or television, or it can be live-streamed to a PC via Gigabit Ethernet (LAN) for image capture and video recording.
With hardware 3D denoising, sharpness, and tone mapping control functions, the MSS4K camera significantly enhances image and video quality.
The included Windows software provides image development and measurement tools, as well as advanced compositing features like image-stitching and extended-depth-of-focus. The software also allows for scale calibration at multiple magnifications, making it suitable for multi-level inspection. For Mac and Linux users, a lite version of the software is available, offering video and still image capture with limited processing capabilities.
